Your Mind, Girls...

Overview
A 20-minute mixed reality theater performance with a full live audience in Quest 3 headsets — one physical actor performs alongside digital characters only visible in-headset, with Sony Mocopi motion capture bringing them to life.
About the Project
Your Mind, Girls... places an entire theater audience in Quest 3 headsets to watch a performance that unfolds across two realities simultaneously. A physical actor moves and speaks on stage while their scene partners — digital MetaHumans, created and motion-captured by Agile Lens using Sony Mocopi — exist only inside the headsets. The audience experiences the performance as if looking in on the actor's memories, watching digital figures from their past appear and recede. Agile Lens took Hope Hutman's script and design requirements and built everything in the digital scope using their deep theater acumen: MetaHuman characters modeled from Hutman's script and creative brief, motion capture integrated into rehearsals which translated into real-time animated performances with MR interpersonal-chemistry, virtual sets and lighting matched precisely to the physical stage, and a theatrical control panel for traditional stage managers managing 100+ live Unreal Engine show cues. The technical infrastructure handles 30+ simultaneous headsets in a dark room via shared spatial anchors and infrared-illuminated tracking — with device management designed for multiple performances per day.
