From First Line to Final Design
One of the aspects of XR design that we at Agile Lens love is how you can go into a project at the very beginning, at the conception phase, and sketch out a series of project models the same way you would in a sketchbook. It is quick, easy, and in 4D space. You rapidly get a feeling for which designs successfully convey what they are meant to, are compelling, and fit your vision without needing a rendered build to block them out.
By bringing a project into XR early you establish direct and clear communication with your client. We have all sat through meetings where the challenges of a client’s design choice cannot by conveyed to them with words alone, and sometimes even a rendered image is not clear enough. Being able to place them in the actual 4D space, before the project is constructed, allows your client to experience your concerns and recommendations instead of hearing about them.

XR Immerses You in Every Stage of the Design Process
Providing an XR experience to a client is a great way to show them your vision. Dropping a designer in XR is an incredible way to allow them to create. When immersed in a design, the creator is able to see the impact of every decision as it is implemented. If, say, a lobby desk looks great in a sketch but blocks high-impact views, being in the design allows you to identify and correct the potential error as you go. By sketching the layout in XR, you can avoid this misstep to begin with, as you can stand in the lobby entryway and place the desk in the optimal spot. Surrounded by first the empty canvas of space and then the project itself, the designer feels the impact of every line and build as it happens.
